SapphFic Mischief Roundup: October 1st Edition

Saturday Mischief Roundup Graphic

Happy weekend!

This is where you’ll find announcements for readers and authors, a weekly Caturday photo, SapphFic Community Bulletin Board, book deals, author selfie, and a new game we’re calling Where in the Heck was TB.

Let’s get to it.

Here are the links for this week:

We wanted to let you know that this will be the last official post on I Heart Lesfic. But don’t worry! We’re not going anywhere—or rather, we ARE going somewhere, and we’re really excited to invite you along.

After months of designing and building our new online home, it’s finally ready to move in! Sometime before noon Eastern time on Monday, October 3, we will be migrating to IHeartSapphFic.com. At that time, IHeartLesfic will become our official archive site, so you’ll still be able to access older posts, but no new content will be added there.

After the site goes live and we’ve done a little bit of last-minute housekeeping, we’ll send out the regular Monday Reading Challenge and Books on Sale email to invite you in. We hope it will be smooth sailing, but realistically we know there may be a few snags. Please be patient. It’s possible in some regions with slower internet speeds, there could be a delay of an hour or two in getting access to the new site.

We’ll see you on Monday in the new place and can’t wait to show you around!

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve decided to start a weekly game, where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

To answer last week’s mystery, more than thirty percent of you thought I should prepare better, and I wholeheartedly agree. The views would have been stunning if I could have seen them. Twenty-eight percent of you were right. I was at the Coolidge Reservation, a place I’d never heard of until I typed places to hike on the coast.

Now for this week’s fun.

Here are some facts about the event TB dropped in on last week.

1. The event took place in Barnstable Village, Cape Cod.

2. It’s a Cape Cod tradition celebrating everything dachshund.

3. Many of the dachshunds wore adorable outfits.

4. They had dachshund dashes.

5. It’s really hard to get photos of dachshunds since they don’t hold still. (This won’t help with the guessing, but it’ll explain the state of some of the photos.)

Now for some of TB’s photos.

Time to vote on what event you think TB visited. Polls are open until October 2 and the answer will be revealed on Saturday, October 8. Please note the voting time is shortened this time because we’re migrating to the new website on Monday, October 3rd.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

What Event Did TB See?

Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!

About TBM

TB Markinson is an American who's recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn't writing, she's traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She cohosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.
