TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve decided to start a weekly game, where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

To answer last week’s mystery, more than half of you got it right. I was in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. A quarter of you were worried that I wasn’t with an adult. Don’t fret. Whenever I leave the house, I have Nigel, my GPS, on my phone. If you’re wondering why his name is Nigel, when I paired my UK phone with my new US phone when I moved back a few years ago, my US phone became convinced I’m a Brit, so the GPS voice is British. Nigel very politely tells me to turn around when I’ve missed my turn or simply reroutes me to get me to where I’m going.

Before we get to this week’s mystery place, all of us at IHS would like to take a moment to express our sadness about the Queen’s passing.

Now for this week’s fun.

Here are some facts about the place TB visited last week.

1. The place commemorates the opening battle of the American Revolution.

2. It’s located in Concord, Massachusetts.

3. You can find Daniel Chester French’s well-known The Minute Man statue of 1874 there.

4. The North Bridge spans the Concord River.

5. Ralph Waldo Emerson’s 1837 poem, “Concord Hymn” memorialized the North Bridge Fight as “the shot heard round the world.”

Now for some of TB’s photos.

Time to vote where in the heck you think TB visited. Polls are open until September 15 and the answer will be revealed on Saturday, September 17.

The results will be announced September 17.

Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!

Miranda, Em, Faith, & TB

  1. Antonia Bateman says:

In the categories for best of, in your voting polls, do you ever have a best audio book? And can I suggest;; a ” best narration/narrator ” category 🤔
