At I Heart SapphFic, we’re always looking for ways to help authors find more readers and for readers to discover new books, while also having fun. So, we’re going to launch a new feature this fall called: Friday Feels.
That’s great, but what the heck is it?
Friday Feels will contain five sections.
The first will showcase the top 3 most clicked books of the week on I Heart SapphFic. This section will include the cover, blurb, and buy link.
The second will include free books. Please note this isn’t a newsletter building section. The books must be free on Amazon. Authors can submit permafree titles.
The third section will include one song title that authors/readers feel encapsulates that Friday feeling.
The fourth section will include a piece of advice that authors or readers have received about life, writing, reading, grief, happiness, etc.
The fifth and final section will showcase the pet of the week. Authors and readers can submit their pet photos.

How to submit a free book:
If you’re an author who’d like to submit a free book for consideration, please click here to submit your offering.
Keep in mind:
- It must be free on Amazon. (This does not include simply being enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. The dollar amount must be $0.00. Permafree books are allowed.)
- This cannot be a freebie in exchange for an email.
- It can be free on other platforms, but to make our lives easier, the only link we’ll include is a universal Amazon button.
- You must submit a short blurb of two sentences or less.
- A book can only be included once during a 90-day period.
- We’ll schedule slots as we receive books.
- You can request a month that works best in the additional comments section. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee certain dates.
- If we select your book, we’ll reach out via email to let you know the scheduled date.
How to Submit a Song:
Authors and readers can get in on the fun. Click here to let us know:
- The song title that puts you in the Friday/Weekend mood. (Just the title, not a YouTube link or anything.)
- Please specify how you want your name printed and if you’re an author or reader. No worries if you don’t want to submit your full name. You can simply use a first name, first name and last initial, all initials, or nickname if you prefer, such as TB, Jane S, Jane, The Grumpy Reader. This is up to your comfort level.
For example, “Dock of the Bay,” submitted by TB Markinson, Author
Authors and readers can submit more than one song, but they won’t be featured more than once in a 90-day period.
How to Submit the Best Advice You’ve Received:
Click here to provide a sentence or two about the advice you’ve received.

Let us know the following:
- Name of Pet
- Please specify how you want your name printed and if you’re an author or reader. No worries if you don’t want to submit your full name. You can simply use a first name, first name and last initial, all initials, or nickname if you prefer, such as TB, Jane S, Jane, The Grumpy Reader. This is up to your comfort level.
- Attach photo of your pet.
